Yesterday in Paris, at “La matinale des juristes d’entreprise” Hubert Chemla, Président Diréctéur General of Wolters Kluwer France, officially launched effacts in France.

As the first business software from Wolters Kluwer France for small to mid-sized legal departments, effacts is a smart and cost-effective solution that helps General Counsel manage their company’s legal information and generate insights that can help them transform their role from legal counsel to strategic business advisor.

According to the “Cartographie des directions juridiques 2016” study from LEXqi, 37% of legal departments in France expressed a need for affordable business software that can assist them in efficiently delivering quality legal services.

Joined by effacts founder, Harm Barvink, the event featured a round table discussion with Muriel Féraud Courtin, Associate Lawyer at Taj Société d’avocats, a Deloitte network entity and General Counsel fro to explore the importance and challenges in mitigating risk, and demonstrate how GCs can use effacts to assume a more strategic role.
